Repeat Prescriptions
Requests for repeat prescriptions will be dealt with within 72 hours (i.e. 3 working days)
Urgent Prescriptions
The Practice will try to accommodate requests for urgent medication, but if possible please give 72 hours (i.e. 3 working days) notice.
How to order prescriptions
You can send in a Repeat Prescription Request Form (available from the practice, which shows the medication you are taking) to the practice by post, email (enderby.mc@nhs.net) or in person. Please allow 3 working days from the point that the surgery receive your prescription to collection.
Or if you have an online account you can order your prescriptions online. Please speak to a member of the Patient Services Team for more information on setting up an online account.
Vulnerable patients and those aged 70 or over will be able to order their prescription over the phone.
Over the counter medications
Due to the Governments policy to reduce the amount of money the NHS spends on prescriptions for treating minor conditions that usually get better on there own, we will generally not be able to provide you with a prescription for medication that can be obtained over-the-counter.
