Some of the comments provided were as follows:
- Staff extremely helpful
- On this occasion I waited 55minutes past our appointment time to see the GP
- On time, very thorough and friendly
- Nurse is always very good speaks and treats patients as human beings
- I was advised to book an urgent appointment in case of a reoccurrence but this was not recorded on the notes to reception.
- Having been told I needed to book my blood test on line, the lady I saw couldn’t do it and said you don’t do blood tests at 2pm. She also said I didn’t need to book it on line. It appears your own staff do not know the process. Fortunately she was able to get the nurse to do it.
- I have always found the surgery to be very responsive to my needs and situation.
- System for flu vaccine appeared a little disorganised
- Staff are absolutely amazing and thankful we don’t have any of those scary receptionists who think they are qualified doctors and are always willing to go that extra mile for patients
Practice response:
Thank you to all our patients who provided feedback for the practice. We truly value each piece of feedback and use it to review our processes and enhance the patient experience.
Feedback – On this occasion I waited 55minutes past our appointment time to see the GP
Our Response – Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that you had to wait 55 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment time. Unfortunately, on occasion our clinicians can run behind schedule when consultations require additional time due to complex medical issues, urgent clinical needs, or unforeseen emergencies. Whilst we always strive to keep to appointment times, patient care and safety must remain our priority. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.
Feedback – I was advised to book an urgent appointment in case of a reoccurrence but this was not recorded on the notes to reception.
Our Response – Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that the advice to book an urgent appointment in the event of a recurrence was not recorded for our reception team. We appreciate how frustrating this may have been. We will remind our clinicians of the importance of adding clear alerts or reminders to the patient record when advising patients to contact the practice urgently should symptoms reoccur. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, as it helps us to improve our processes.

Our Response – Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the confusion regarding the booking of your blood test appointment. All nurse and healthcare assistant appointments are booked directly through our Patient Services Team and are not currently available to book online. We are sorry that you were given conflicting information, and we appreciate how inconvenient this must have been. We will reiterate the correct booking process to all staff to help ensure this does not happen again. We are pleased that the nurse was able to assist you on the day and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Feedback – System for flu vaccine appeared a little disorganised
Our Response – Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that the flu vaccination clinic appeared disorganised on this occasion. This year we trialled a slightly different approach by offering a combination of pre-booked appointments and walk-in clinics to improve access for patients. We appreciate that this may not have worked as smoothly as intended for everyone. Please be assured that we fully take on board the feedback we receive and will use it to help plan and improve future flu vaccination clinics. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
