Christmas Opening Hours
Please note Enderby Medical Centres opening hours over the holiday period:
Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve) – 8am – 4pm
Thursday 25th December (Christmas Day) – Closed
Friday 26th December (Boxing Day) – Closed
Monday 29th December – Open as usual
Tuesday 30th December – Open as usual
Wednesday 31st December (New Years Eve) – 8am – 4pm
Thursday 1st January (New Years Day) – Closed
Friday 2nd January – Open as usual
On Christmas Eve and New years eve between the hours of 4pm – 6:30pm the practice will be covered by DHU. You can contact DHU directly on 0300 323 0671. If it is an emergency, please telephone 999.
You can also attend the following site if necessary:
Oadby Urgent Treatment Centre, 18 The Parade, Leicester, LE2 5BJ.
You are also able to send non urgent electronic requests via our online platform, Rapid Health, which will be reviewed on the next working day.

Please do not call between the hours of 1pm – 2 pm for routine matters. If you have a medical emergency during this time, please call the mobile number given on the answering service or 111 (see below). For non-urgent calls, please call after 2 pm.

The surgery will be closed between 1pm – 6.30pm for staff training on the following dates:

- Boxing Day – Friday 26th December 2025

If you require a doctor during these times please call the NHS 111 service. We will re-open the following working day at 8am as usual.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
