Important information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS in England and Public Health England (PHE) are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need medical help and advise you what to do.

Use this service if:

• you think you might have coronavirus;

• in the last 14 days you've been to a country or area with a high risk of coronavirus;

• you've been in close contact with someone with coronavirus.

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone.

Further information and details of how to self-isolate are available on https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

UPDATE:

THE NHS WILL CONTACT YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU TO COME FORWARD FOR YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION

The Covid-19 Vaccination Programme is being phased in throughout the county of Leicestershire.  Enderby Medical Centre is part of North Blaby Primary Care Network and is scheduled to commence the Covid-19 vaccination programme in January 2021.  Eligible patients will be contacted when you need to come forward for your Covid-19 vaccination to arrange an appointment.

NHS Choices - Your health, your choices

Our practice is part of a local Clinical Commissioning Group who plan and manage most local health care services.

Following a change to the Health and Social Care Act, primary care trusts (PCTs) were abolished and the new clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), led by GPs, took over the responsibility for planning and managing health care for their local population.

CCGs aim to improve the way the local NHS engages and communicates with our patients, public, clinicians, staff, partners and other stakeholders.
